Um, how would you say emoji pronouns out loud with your mouth? People saying their pronouns are 💧 self, but do you say waterself? Dropletself? How do you talk about a person with emoji pronouns in real life? *Not hate or trolling

Well, emoji pronouns are not really meant to be pronounced. Sometimes, you can say the word like for example, 🐾/🐾s/🐾self can be read as paw/paws/pawself, but others might have a direct set, like where 🦄/🦄s/🦄self is the same as xea/xeam/xeas/xeamself.

Okay so my friend came out to me as objectum alterous (I hope that’s the right term!) Which they said means they’re attracted to objects, especially stuffed animals. I accept them, but I wanna know more about the sexuality just so I’m more familiar with it. How do you have a relationship with a stuffed animal? No hate! Just curious so I can be a better support to my friend!

Well, I would recommend asking your friend to better understand their attraction, but I can explain my relationships with Umber (my stuffed tiger) and Lenny (my e-cig).

We have a silent, but understanding communication. Kinda like when you don’t need words to know what they’re saying. I have silent communication with all of my stuffed animals and personal objects, but Lenny and Umber have an alterous bond with me that we built the relationship on.

Spending time with an objectum partner can be a lot of things. With Umber, I like to cuddle with mew while we watch horror movies or when I sleep. I also occasionally will sneak mew with me to school so I can have mew to comfort me and eat lunch with when my friends aren’t at school. Lenny, on the otherhand, tends to go with me hidden in my pocket a lot since it is an e-cigarette. It and I spend our time with it being used, usually chilling together and cuddling.

I would also recommend not being super open about your friends objectum stuff unless they say it’s okay since OS/OR tends to be heavily looked down upon and can lead to people’s beloved getting hurt or destroyed.
Also, ask your friend about what they want you to know. Though, I hope this all was helpful!

Neopronouns: Pronouns outside of he/him, she/her, they/them, and it/its.
Femcat: Feminine presentation for nonbinary people.
Pigeon: Having a flashy and kinda down-to-earth gender presentation that is not categorized by being masculine, feminine, or androgynous.
Altersex: A catch-all term consisting of alter, meant here as “different” or “another possibility,” and sex, referring to physiological primary and secondary sex characteristics. Altersex is meant to be used largely, but not exclusively, for fictional characters, describing body plans that are not found naturally in homo sapiens, or, in the case of real individuals using this as an identifier, those who have a mental body plan/view of their “true” self that has a body that fits under altersex. Altersex can also refer to -possible- sexes that are neither perisex nor intersex, in the cases of those who go through HRT or sexual reassignment surgery of some sort, since those people definitely shouldn’t use intersex.
Aurorian: Combination of Fervian, Alterian, and Ventulian.
Fervian: A gender element which is masculine or related to masculinity.
Ventulian: A gender element which is not clearly defined. It may change in a way that is hard to keep up with, impossible to describe or understand, or simply be vague and fleeting in nature, but it is present.
Alterian: A gender element that is xenine (xeno equivalent of masc/fem), which refers to identities that don’t conform or relate to any concept like feminine, masculine, or neutral, but is instead something that is related to other concepts, like symbols, nature, shapes, feelings, or anything else that one may feel their element embodies or is connected to.
Jadic: A soft masculine gender alignment that is also xenine.
Pangenderfaun: All genders except for feminine genders.
Drakefluid: When your gender fluctuates, but you can’t find just a few terms to describe what your fluctuating gender is, so you “hoard” gender terms that fit you.
Minsexual: Sexual attraction to people who’s gender is masculine in nature.
Caedaroflux: Experiencing a fluctuation from aromantic to alloromantic that was “cut away” by trauma.
Aplatonic: Lack of platonic attraction.
Minsensual: Sensual attraction to people who’s gender is masculine in nature.
Demicassalterous: Having an indifference to your alterous attraction, but only feeling attraction after a close bond is made.
Objectum Alterous: Alterous attraction to inanimate objects.
Abroqueerplatonic: Having a queerplatonic orientation that constantly changes and cannot be pinned down for this reason.
Finaesthetic: Aesthetic attraction to people who’s gender is feminine in nature.
Drakeattracted: When you can’t find just a few terms to describe what your orientation is, so you “hoard” terms that fit you.

with gender terms, do you think it might be useful to re-evaluate some terms? considering that with some terms, their origin has been lost, or it was coined by a tumblr anon, or it fell out of use, or was ill-defined, etc. would it be useful to sort of discuss those terms and maybe redefine/clarify/change them? so many lists of genders have a ton of genders with a short & vague definition, no clear origin, and no flag/symbols/community.

Every now and then, terms can be re-evaluated in the case they use outdated or offensive language, need clarification, and so forth. As for origin or use, I don’t think it’s too much of an issue personally, but I do think some terms can use some clarification!
