Due to a few rather questionable anons in the ask box, I’d like to announce that if you have an issue with a mod, issues with a post, or other concern for something in regards to this blog, please come off anon or message me (Admin Opal) on discord

mogaiheaven:

Mycedgender – A gender that has so many tiny aspects that you feel like you are constantly discovering it OR being polygender and having so many different types of genders (ex. xenogenders, aesthetigenders, synesgenders) that you are constantly discovering new ones.

Basically a split off of the alt definition of abrogender, since most people use that to mean ‘a gender that changes so fast it cannot be pinned down’ and not this way.

honestly tho i feel like a lot of the issue with the fact its hard for us (mspec, aspec, nonbinary, whatever) to get our own culture is like…. well for one, most of us arent able to have stuff going on IRL where we can be Together as a Group, and we just cant fucking agree on what terms to use.

now i love labels more than anyone but we gotta focus on making shit that theres like… a Huge use for. we can make the tiny things too just like? maybe we Don’t need another set of masc/fem presentation terms. Maybe we don’t need more terms to replace male/female aligned.

but thats Also the thing. what DO we need? What do we need, guys? how would we go About discovering what we need, and how to do it? Because if we tried to come up with a unifying thing its gonna be like that lesbian flag poll where now theres just dozens of flags and everyone still uses the lipstick lesbian one anyway

@uncommongenders i know this is super hard to read probably, but any thoughts?

i’d love thoughts from anyone, mspec aspec or nonbinary

I had planned to add on for a while, but kept forgetting so here it is.

I personally feel that the mogai community is really scattered and less focused on community and trying to explain to others and more focused on coining tiny labels

This is not to say that recent terms are invalid nor bad. This is saying that I personally feel that the community has been a lot more scattered and separated.

I also feel that the community is grown more to accepting anything regardless without questions, consideration of need, or anything of the sort.

Instead, I feel that it would help to have the community be more open to discussion, skepticism, debates, and being able to explain things in more simple matters.

If anyone else would like to add on, please do.

Nofinflexible – Attraction to people who aren’t feminine-identifying, or to non-feminine genders, but having some sort of exceptions to that.

Nominflexible – Attraction to people who aren’t masculine-identifying, or to non-masculine genders, but having some sort of exceptions to that.

Noninflexible – Attraction to people who aren’t neutral-identifying, or to non-neutral genders, but having some sort of exceptions to that.

[IMAGE DESCRIPTION: Two digitally rendered pride flags. They each have three stripes. The middle stripe is half the size of the top and bottom stripes. The first flag has the following colors, from top to bottom: pastel orange, white, lavender. The second flag has mint, white, and the same lavender from the first flag. End description.]

I made flags for the attraction terms recently coined by @wedontcareaboutyourbinary!

First flag (left) is for trixensexual (trixenromantic, trixenamoric, etc): A person who is attracted exclusively to women and non-binary people.
Color meanings:
     – Orange: blend of traditional pink for women and yellow for non-binary folks
     – White: expansiveness of the multi-attraction spectrum
     – Lavender: queerness and non-normativity

Second flag (right) is for torensexual (torenromantic, torenamoric, etc): A person who is attracted exclusively to men and non-binary people.

Color meanings:
    – Mint: blend of traditional blue for men and yellow for non-binary folks
    – White: expansiveness of the multi-attraction spectrum
    – Lavender: queerness and non-normativity

Note: these attraction terms are not specifically for use by nonbinary people. They can be used by anybody regardless of gender. They also apply regardless of what exact sort of nonbinary people you are/aren’t attracted to. See the original post for more information.

Please do not start discourse on this post, and do not “repurpose” these flags, thank you!
